The engineering charters in India have plateaued, largely attributable to the limited technical talent available. The onus of accepting the status quo or taking definitive action lies with the industry as a whole. The focus of this session is to share the milestones defined and the expected outcomes from this initiative. This will include industry awareness programs, common curriculum and training programs, immersion programs etc.

In the last century numerous catch phrases evolved to explain the role of a customer – ‘customer is king’; ‘there is only one boss – the customer’; ‘a business exists to create a customer’ and more famously Henry Ford said, “The customer pays the wages.” Translation: Customers ultimately determine the growth and survival of any business .
