Guru Bhat is currently Head of R&D Operations for Ericsson in Bangalore where he leads Operational Excellence, Project and Development Support and Organization Building initiatives. Prior to joining Ericsson, Guru Bhat was General Manager of Serus Corporation's India development center where he successfully formed and grew a team to engage in Product Development, QA, Support, Managed Services and IT for all of Serus' products. Before that, Guru was the Lead Architect of SAP's Next Generation Cloud Platform and led a team of architects all over the globe in this effort. Before moving back to India in 2007, he spent 13 years in the US where he worked as a Software Architect for Oracle and Sun Microsystems. Guru is passionately interested in playing (tennis), reading (about tennis) and writing (about tennis).
