Ramaswamy Narayanan currently heads the largest offshore software Global In-house center (GIC) as the Executive Director for Otis Elevator Company (A United Technologies Company). In this role, he is responsible for leading and growing capabilities and contributions of the global center and aligning it to the overall IT strategy of the corporation. The center today is regarded as one of the best-in-class IT GIC's in India. In recent years, the company has won national and international accolades for business excellence including the Best-In-Class award based on the Malcolm Balridge model.Prior to this, in a career spanning nearly a decade with Wipro Technologies, he held key overseas positions at customer locations in building and nurturing large customer accounts through strong relationships backed with world-class delivery. He built sustaining relationships with stakeholders on the basis of transparency, open dialogue and seeking ways to always solve problems with meaningful outcomes. He held the position of a Delivery Manager of key and large accounts in the company while based offshore in India.He has an MBA in Information Technology. He is an avid reader and enjoys music.
