Vinod Bidarkoppa brings over 20 years of global experience in diverse operational and strategic executive IT leadership roles with global Fortune 100 companies across different verticals including  Retail, Airlines and Banking. Vinod has lived and worked in various geographies internationally.

At Tesco HSC, Vinod is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology Shared Services including Retail Applications, Online and Mobile Platforms (Tesco.com), Tesco Bank and Infrastructure to the UK, US, Central and Eastern Europe and Asia geographies of Tesco, the world’s third largest retailer.

Prior to joining Tesco,  Vinod served as the Director and Country Head for the Applications, Industry and BPO divisions, including Consulting and Systems Integration for Hewlett  Packard (HP), India region, responsible for  managing the Country P&L with end to end responsibility for strategy, growth and service delivery excellence to a diverse client base.  Earlier, based out of Singapore, Vinod served as Director and Regional Head responsible for General Management of the Applications Business for the Travel, Transportation and Logistics Industry portfolio across Asia, Pacific and Japan.  Previously, he worked in various functions in Consulting, Account Management, Product Development and Service Delivery in senior leadership roles at EDS in the US.

Vinod has an MBA degree from Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University (Texas, USA) and MS degree in Computer Science from Texas Tech University (Texas, USA). He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (REC Nagpur) India. Vinod has published thought leadership in magazines and periodicals in areas of IT transformation, retail technology and has delivered key note addresses on Technology in multiple forums.   Vinod loves playing tennis, hiking and listening to music in his spare time.
